Picking from a freelancer marketplace, or hiring me

A marketplace gives you a long list of people and a way to hold the money until you approve. The difficulty is telling, before you have paid, which kind of person you have found.

What you get

A search box, a long list of profiles, and bids that arrive quickly. You choose from ratings, a portfolio and a short message, and the platform holds the money until you approve the work.

The person you get might be excellent. A rating tells you that earlier buyers were happy with earlier jobs, and those jobs may look nothing like yours.

Where this route is right

For a small job with a clear finish, a marketplace is hard to beat: a bug fix, a landing page, one screen built from a design you already have.

Its escrow and dispute process are also real protection, and a direct arrangement with me does not come with them. If that matters most to you, stay on the platform.

Where I am different

You do not have to trust a rating. Everything I have built that can be shown is on this site with a link that opens it: 23 products are live today, and you can use them before you write to me.

Scoping happens on a call, before any number. A fixed number attached to an unscoped brief is a number one of us is going to be unhappy about, and the call is where I say whether I am the right person.

The cost of that is time up front. A call and a written scope are slower than accepting a bid, and for a small job they are not worth it.

What you can check

My side of this rests on the products below. Each one opens, and each date comes from its commit history or my own project records.

Tell me what you are building

The first call is free and lasts thirty minutes. If this route suits your job better than I do, that is what you will hear from me.
