Take a look before you go
The still below is painted first, then the running site loads behind it — so the dialog is never an empty rectangle waiting on a network round trip. Where a site allows framing the live app takes over; where it refuses, the still stays and says so. Nothing is requested until you press.
About
What this actually is
Rent Party is a property-trading board game you can pause. Start tonight and finish days later with the same friends.
Fridays used to end at 1 a.m. Now the crew lives in three cities, and nobody can stay up that late anymore. The last game you started never got a winner: a phone died, then somebody had to go. Somewhere, a board still has three hotels on it.
Start a game tonight. Finish it Thursday. Bankrupt your friends. Hit pause when life calls, then pick it up days later on any screen with every deed exactly where you left it.
You roll two dice, buy the unowned streets you land on, trade for full color sets, and build houses and hotels so the rent on your streets keeps climbing. The game runs the bank, and play can pause and pick up again over several evenings. The last player who isn’t bankrupt wins.
Rent Party plays by the classic property-trading rules and applies each one the moment it matters, so nobody has to dig out the rulebook mid-game. Pass on a street and it goes to auction. You can still bid. Short on bucks? You raise money before bankruptcy. Nothing for sale makes you win.
Play your way. Pass one phone around the table for up to 8 players. Take on CPU characters, each with their own style, at four difficulty levels. Or open a room for friends anywhere: play live with turn timers, or take a turn whenever you can over several days.
One phone, no peeking. Family night, kitchen table, one phone or tablet going around. Each time the phone changes hands, a hand-off screen keeps your trades and auction bids safe from nosy cousins and anyone else leaning over your shoulder.
Meet the rivals. They have opinions. Every rival talks back, and one of them holds grudges. They’re the computer opponents, each with a name and a personality, and you can play them on Easy, Normal, Hard or Expert. Begin on Easy. Move up whenever you like. Bea bakes cookies and builds hotels. Captain Moss collects stations like ships in bottles. Lulu will trade you anything, twice. Pip never forgets an auction.
Same table, different time zones. Sign in with Google and the crew is back at one table, whether everyone’s on tonight or the game runs a turn at a time all week. Turns fit around your week. Miss one and it’s auto-played. Scan to join, or type the six-character room code.
Life gets in the way, so the game waits. Local and CPU games pause any time, and they’re still there after you close the app. An online game pauses only when everyone at the table agrees. It resumes once everyone’s ready. When a paused game resumes, you’re back on the same turn at the same table, with every deed exactly where you left it. Signed-in players can continue on another device.
Leaving an online game counts as a forfeit, paused or not: their deeds go back to the bank and are auctioned, and the rest of the table plays on. If you need to step away, ask the table for a pause instead.
Play it the way your family always did. Before a game starts, pick a preset or switch house rules on one at a time. If your family always piled the taxes in the middle of the board and handed the pile to whoever stopped on the quiet corner, the piggy bank is that rule. Shake on the rules, then shake the dice.
The banter is half the game. Send an emote when the dice turn on you. Swap jokes in quick chat while friends watch from the sidelines. When it’s over, share the result card in the group chat, or tap rematch and the same table is rolling again before anyone says good night.
Dress up your token. Earn coins by playing and spend them on looks: tokens, boards, dice and frames. Coins buy looks, never luck. Collect badges, take on a daily challenge, and add friends to start games faster.
Start on the bus. Finish on the couch. Once you’re signed in, your games follow you from screen to screen. Whichever one’s closest wins.
Free is the whole game. Pro and Family raise limits, like how many online games you can run at once. You buy plans on the website.
Pull up a chair. The dice are still warm.

Key features
What it does, and what that costs to build
Each of these is a capability the stack genuinely provides. None of them is an outcome nobody measured — there is no "cut onboarding by 40%" on this page, because no one measured onboarding.
- Pass-and-play
- CPU characters
- Live room
- Over days
- Pause
- Rematch
Screenshots
5 slots, 2 of them filled in
These are designed frames, not pictures. Each one records what belongs in the slot and at what width; the capture itself is taken from the running app. Drawing a fake screenshot here would put an image on the site that no build has ever produced.

Questions
Common questions
The questions that actually arrive, answered in the first sentence.
- Can friends play one game over several days?
- Yes. Start an online game over days and everyone takes a turn when they can, with a deadline for each turn and a nudge when it’s your move.
- Does it work with everyone on one phone?
- Yes. Pass-and-play seats two to eight people around one phone or tablet, with a hand-off screen that keeps trades and bids private. No peeking.
- Can I play against the computer offline?
- Yes. Play against CPU characters with no account and no connection, and the game saves on your device after every move. Good practice before game night.
- Do I need an account to play?
- No. Pass-and-play and CPU games work without one. Sign in with Google to play online, keep cloud saves and earn coins.
- How long does a game take?
- As long as your table wants. Quick mode ends after a set number of rounds and whoever’s richest wins, and a full game can stretch over several evenings with pauses in between.
- What happens if a friend leaves an online game?
- Leaving an online game counts as a forfeit, paused or not. Their deeds go back to the bank, then to auction. The rest of the table plays on. If someone needs a break, ask the table to pause instead.
